COZENTA Book a session

Sound, built for picture.

Sound effects, Foley, field recording, sound design, session recording, and audio post-production for film, games, and media — recorded and built in Clayton, Missouri.

STRIPE 01 / Signal

We record the door.
Then we design the slam.

COZENTA is an audio production studio for people who finish things — directors, editors, game teams, agencies, and independent creators who need sound that sits exactly on the frame.

We capture real sources first: props on a Foley surface, a city street at 5 a.m., a guitar part from your demo. Then we cut, layer, and mix until the scene carries weight. Every job is quoted by the unit you actually need — a sound, a minute of picture, a location, or a part.

COZENTA MARKET LLC was formed in September 2026. A new studio — no borrowed credits, no stock reel.

Foley performance, field sessions, or instrument takes — recorded clean, with room to edit.

  3. 00:00:30:00

Editing, layering, and design against your cut. You review a reference bounce and send one round of notes.

Final mix and stems delivered as named WAV files, at the sample rate and loudness your platform needs.

OUT OF FRAME

What a standard quote does not cover

  • On-set production sound for live shoots
  • Licensing or clearance of third-party music and samples
  • Live event sound reinforcement
  • Composition or arrangement unless quoted separately
  • Unlimited revisions — one round per deliverable, more on a written change order

STRIPE 05 / Notes

Before you send.

How do you count a “minute of video”?

By the running time of the picture we work on. A 90-second ad is quoted as 1.5 minutes. Dense action scenes sit higher in the range than quiet dialogue scenes.

What should I send with a request?

A short description, the running time or number of sounds, reference links, your deadline, and the delivery format you need. Picture can follow once we confirm the quote.

Who owns the sounds you make for my project?

After full payment, custom work is licensed to you for use in your project and its promotion, worldwide and without time limit. Exclusive buyouts can be arranged in the written quote.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. Most projects run through file transfer and timecoded notes. Field recording happens on location, mainly in the St. Louis area; travel elsewhere is quoted separately.

Which formats do you deliver?

WAV at 48 kHz / 24-bit by default. Other sample rates, stem layouts, or loudness targets are matched to your spec when you tell us up front.

How do payment and scheduling work?

Work begins after you approve a written quote and the agreed deposit is received. Timelines are confirmed in the quote, not promised on this page.
